As a parish community, we at St. Peter’s would like to wish Fr. Owen a very happy and contented retirement in his new home.

Fr. Owen came to St. Peter’s 4 years ago and he has become a very vital person in the parish, contributing to all our activities. He baptised many of the children, he also buried many of our parishioners. He was very involved in the sacraments of communion and confirmation in our schools.

He will be very much missed. We will miss his great sense of humour and great historical knowledge of so many parishes. He will be missed for his interesting homilies, and especially for his reflections after Communion. We will even miss his singing! Many thanks Fr. Owen for all you have shared with us. We are all sad that you are leaving. Blessings on the next chapter in your life.
