Groups

Enniskerry Parish

Many parishioners contribute to the work of the Enniskerry Parish by their participation in a variey of different committees, work groups and activities. Those who participate and those who have done so in the past are a vital part of Parish life and are much appreciated. Many more volunteers are needed.

If you would like to join in the work of any of the Parish Groups listed below you are encouraged to contact the Parish offices and make yourself and your area of interest known. Likewise if you can only help occassionally you are more than welcome.

Many groups are involved in the life of our Church

Sacristans

The role of the Sacristan  and those who attend to the work of the Sacristy is an important ministry in our parish. Our Sacristans not only assist the priest, but support the entire congregation to participate fully, consciously and actively in liturgical celebrations.

Our team of Sacristans play a crucial role in the “behind the scenes” work of  preparing our church and ensure that everything is in place to celebrate the Mass.  In our parish, with 4 churches, Mass is celebrated at different times on weekdays and on Sundays.

Our Sacristans are:

Curtlestown          Norah Burton           (01) 2829745

Enniskerry            Sadie O’Connell         (01)

Glencree               Aidan Maher              (01) 2861956

Kilmacanogue     Breda Donnelly          (01)

Working Together To Stay Safe.

Volunteers include people from the Parish – GAA clubs, Community First Responders and Community groups.

  • Collect and deliver groceries, prescriptions, fuel etc.
  • Carry out any emergency maintenance jobs
